Toast

For some reason, days at work this week seem long.  I imagine the reason is that last week was only two days long.  Next week there is a professional development day so the week will be short a day for the students, but not the educators.   I never know what they will teach us and always feel unprepared.  I expect that will not change.

After work K and I moved forward with our event planning and I did a little bit of sewing.  Time is running out and my list of things to do seems longer.

A little over a year ago the kitchen got new appliances.  With this some cabinets and counters went away.   Some new ones will hopefully get installed soon.  With less counters, the toaster oven went into storage.  Today, when I arrived home, I was surprised by the its return.  Being able to use the toaster oven again is my happy for today.   I celebrated by having toast with my salad for dinner.  It was yummy.  Funny thing is that K and Z bought English muffins thinking I would want to toast some up.  I prefer them cooked up in a buttered pan.  English muffin pizzas in the toaster oven will be nice though.  😋
