April Fool's Day

Today I went to the chiropractor.   I just want to say that I was nervous, but with all the packing I really needed to be adjusted.  The office is taking lots of precautions to keep things clean and disinfected during this time of social distancing.  The receptionist is trying to make a game out of how to pay without her actually touching anything.  It was cute.

Because of the appointment,  I had a sick day off from work.   It was approved back before school became remote and I decided to keep it.  I still took part in the meetings today and did a little of what I have been working on.  Much of the day was packing though.

For April Fool's Day the game I like to play, Minecraft, had a special temporary update.  Gideon has been excited about this for weeks.  So excited that the computer hasn't been packed yet so that he could play today.  It took a little while, but we figured out how to participate with this update.  There was a way to build a portal into different dimensions, supposedly an infinite amount of them.   I didn't put this to the test.  It was neat, but didn't fulfill the things that I play the game for-building, resource management and occasionally fighting monsters.  He was thrilled, and that is my happy for today.
