My body aches. There has been physical labor in the last few days in ways that I haven't done recently. Sitting on the floor scrubbing out the soot covered oven, on my hands and knees scrubbing the soot off the floor, my head in the dryer cleaning the vent, laying on the rocky ground trying to get the new dryer vent through the hole in the wall and attached-These things and more I have done these last two days. These were all good and important things. Besides my back deciding to hurt lately they were all fairly enjoyable. Being with family and good people while things get done is joyous.
Having both my kids, their partners, friend and my grandson all here during this time is my happy for today. We all got to walk the property and talk about ideas for what to do with it.
