Strawberries

Today was one of those down days that I don't like to talk about or admit that I have.  The day ended well though.  We all watched Steven Universe: The Movie.  I admit that I didn't quite 'get' the show when I first would catch it here and there when K & Z had it on.  I think watching enough episodes to be able to remember the characters and their development helped.

There were some things that helped to lift my mood today.  We found strawberries growing in the garden.  These are not the ones we bought and have yet to plant.  I also found some hanging strawberry planters I bought a few years ago and never used.  In other plant related news I planted some nasturtiums in plastic containers.  Gideon filmed me planting them.  I'm hoping to use them for a science experiment.

C made cookies tonight and separated out some dough so I could have some with butterscotch morsels instead of chocolate.  They came out pretty good.  My happy for today is the conversations had in the kitchen waiting for cookies to bake.  We talked about the brain and how we process certain information and about music and some jokes were told.  Just normal light conversation. 🤣

My cookie is the big one.
