Friendship Bread

A few weeks ago I purchased a hammock swing.  Today I decided to try it out while on some of the Google meets for work.  It was a little loud when large trucks went by, other than that I think it went okay.  No internet problems so that was good.  A chipmunk came fairly close while I sat there.  For Teacher Appreciation Week (last week I think) the PTO put together a basket for all the staff and many people spent today delivering them.  My favorite part of the basket is a petunia.  I'm not sure where it will end up yet.  Inside or outside, hanging or in the ground... more decisions.

While walking out back today I fell, twice.  The second time I fell I may have found blueberry plants.  No flowers yet so I could be wrong.  Time will tell.  If I remember, I may bring some flags with me next time I go out back to mark things.  As more plants and leaves are popping up, I am hoping to be able to identify more things.  There are boxes I should unpack to find the books that will help me identify things.

While dinner was in the oven E and I made up some friendship bread.  There are things that I will do differently next time it is made.  It was a case of doing a step, but the step felt wrong, and then I would remember doing it a different way when I made it years ago.  It is nice having people around in the household right now.  Times are tough and more people around help make it a little better for me.  Not the bread, but the friendship building that occurs in a kitchen while food is prepared is my happy for today.  I am also thankful for plants growing and for people who are willing to travel all around to deliver appreciation gifts.
