La Familia

Well, I didn't walk 100 miles in May.  I think I got about 93 miles done.  So close.  Today there were just too many things going on.  I should have walked more in the beginning of the month.  The last few days that I walked will hopefully be a good jump start for the summer.  Part of me wants to challenge myself again in June to walk the 100 miles...  Today I ache from all the walking I have been doing.  New shoes today also means sore feet.

Today was busy with seeing family and picking up furniture from them.  An aunt passed away a few months ago and now we have her bureau, a chair, and a few other things.  So we visited cousins and others for a few minutes with that part of the family and then went and saw another aunt.  I stored some things at her house and sorted through a little of that today and brought a few things back.  It was great to see people today but still so odd with all the covid stuff going on.  

We had friends come by tonight to deliver some eggs to us and talk about chickens.  We are thinking of having chickens.  I'm not sure how I feel about that and took a walk during that part of the visit.  Other than not making the 100 mile mark, I think it was a pretty good day.  My happy is getting to spend time with family and friends.
