"Always Be A Part"

Back on February 6th, I posted about an afternoon training where I lightened things up a bit by joking about being "burned" by the sun.  This led to a conversation about the sunrise on the way to work and how beautiful they are with someone who also drives into the sunrise every morning.  I admit this conversation might have been a bit animated for my part.  Any how, today they asked me if I saw the sunrise this morning.  They let me know that they think of me now when they see the sun driving to work.  I was with a student and not able to follow thru with this conversation.   That comment pretty much made my day though, and is my happy for the day.   I don't expect this to be a lasting-for-the-rest-of-their-life type memory, but it is one that seems to bring them a little joy, for now.  Isn't making joyful memories what life is all about?

A Billy Joel song.
