The First Day of March

The computer issue didn't get fixed.  I did get some things packed and a few things to the trash and donate pile.  We spent a good chunk of the morning looking at pictures of houses for sale online.  K figured out how to display the houses onto the TV from her phone.  It made it much easier for us to sit as a family and talk about the things we like or don't like about them.

After getting a few things done, Gideon and I played Minecraft.  We were joined by my friend in Texas.  When we were just about to close up for the night, the village we were near was raided.  We decided to fight them.  It is possible for the raids to kill off the non player characters that we have been trying hard to propagate.  It took well over an hour to get rid of these raiders.  We died multiple times.  These raids leave me very anxious even though I have a sense of accomplishment when we defeat them.  It takes me a little bit to unwind after dealing with them.  For this reason, Minecraft is not my happy for today.

My happy for today is that I now have three boxes in the corner of my bedroom mostly ready to go.  One is done, one needs a cover, and the other just needs to be topped off.  Moving forward, Minecraft will be a bonus for getting boxes packed or sorted.  Now that I am home from Texas, it is time to pack for the move.  Besides, this year is about focusing and holding myself accountable for getting things done.
