Cleaning

After going from one task to another half the morning I realized I didn't have my pedometer on.  Even without all that activity I reached my step goal.  The house is starting to feel like home even without furniture or dishes.  There is some furniture.  The previous owners chose to leave their dining room set so we have chairs and a table.  My back was bothering me enough that I asked for my mattress to be brought in.  Hopefully I will sleep more comfortably tonight.

Last night wasn't too bad for sleeping.  I decided to listen to soft music so that any random sounds (the house pops) wouldn't startle me.  There were birds singing when I awoke.  Cars go by, it is a very busy street.  With what is going on now, and most people working from home, I imagine it will be even more busy once this time of social distancing is over.

At some point today I called my friend in Texas and gave her a virtual tour of the house.  We talked a bit about the dark colors of my room.  I'm starting to make plans in my head for things to do to brighten it up.  I may be getting creative with it soon... we'll see how time and my imagination flows.  This talk with my friend is my happy for today.  I have another happy too.  E and maybe C are considering coming up from Texas.  E would quarantine herself in the in-law apartment and help fix it up.  If C comes too, it would mean that they would be moving here, for at least a little while.  E is basically going stir crazy with no work and C at work still all day.
