Raking

It was a beautiful spring day.  We all got out and did things in the yard.  I got to rake an overgrown part of the yard.  This area has some plants that were obviously planted there and belong.  It also has a bunch that are just there.  Unfortunately,  other than the grass, it is hard to tell what belongs and what doesn't.  I didn't pull any grass, just raked the dried stuff out.  I don't think this section had been cared for recently.  There were two lawn ornaments that we could see before today and I uncovered three more.  The best part though is that the area is just a little bit greener than it had been and there are a few blue/purple flowers.  I think they are periwinkle, but not sure.

K & Z did a curbside pickup order from Lowe's and purchased some tools and such but also a hammock.  We each got to try it out.  K & Z went to the storage unit and Gideon and I got to sit there for a bit, swing and discuss nests, alternate universes and such.  That is my happy thing for the day.  There is talk about maybe getting a hammock for each of us... I might want a swing though instead.

We found fresh evidence of someone living under one of the fruit trees.

Where I raked, before.

After... only a little better.
So many leaves and grass.
Just ignore the leaves on the driveway in front.

Plants!

 The daffodils again.

Be kind.
