Bugs

The pictures I took today are buggy, so I won't share them.  I found and identified squash bugs.  I haven't been looking close enough and now, well, they are all over the place.  This is the year for learning and I certainly have a bunch to learn.  Next year will be different.  Hopefully in a positive way.  😉   Insect control will be something that we will have to work hard to manage going forward.

Over the last few days enough peaches have been picked that K made a delicious cobbler with them.  She did this after unpacking many more boxes.  I don't seem to be able to keep up.  After all that unpacking, organizing, and peach cobbler making she did art things.

This evening I received a text message from my friend from work.  She had been inspired by my rock painting a few months ago and painted a bunch up and sent me pictures.  She came up with some wonderful inspirational sayings that I may use if I get around to painting more for the yard.  I kind of want some big rocks for the little area in the driveway.  Big rocks and more flowering plants.  These messages are my happy for today.

The little one in this picture is me, the adult is one of my cousins.
The picture is one of the finds that was unpacked today.

Wash your hands (to avoid spreading bugs).
