Today friends of K came over to wish her a Happy Birthday by throwing her a surprise party. It was Z's idea, but the friends pulled it off. Z, K, and Gideon went out on their Sunday drive and people came by to set up things outside and wait for their return. K had no idea, until she got home, that anything was going on. The weather cooperated by being clear and not terribly cold for an October day. Here are other happy things for today:
- We have large areas outside where people can visit while social distancing.
- Gideon had friends to play with today too.
- The glorious red the sky turned as the sun set tonight.
- Raspberry sorbet.
- That there are people in this world that can prepare and decorate for a party and some of them were here today.
- Presents.
- Watching K cut her hair.
- Knife sharpening.
- Good discussions.
- I remembered to pay my mortgage.
- 15,000 steps today.
- C & E should be here tomorrow!
