Today at work I was present. I wish I could say that I was a Mary Poppins kind of paraeducator, but I am not. I will miss the children more than they will miss me. I am very much enjoying the students making air rockets. Other happy things are:
- Noticing a point on Star Trek Next Generation where the rock that a character was leaning on gave in such a way to prove that it was truelly foam.
- Gideon opening the door for me, with a smile, to welcome me home after work.
- At dinner tonight there were threats of having a food fight. This created non food fight fun in that you-had-to-be-there sort of way.
- Another brilliant sunset.
- More delicious fresh baked cookies. Seriously though, I think I am going to gain back the weight I have been losing.
