Happy Veteran's Day

My mind is working harder on tasks that I will have time for when I am unemployed than getting through the next week and a half.  I didn't want to 'check out' early like some do when they give notice, but I am concerned that I will.  Today was not a work day, tomorrow when I enter the doors I'm sure that I will be able to be present.  At least as much as the stress levels will allow.  The good part of this is that I am seeing a life for myself after this job.  Other happy things for today:
  • I'm fairly certain that K and I finally finished our resposibilities for the event in the beginning of September.  I thought we were done a while back and then stuff popped up.  So happy that this is behind us.
  • This morning I did very little for a while before becoming productive.  This was self care.
  • Some productive things did happen when I took care of some stuff that was outside.
  • My friend, AP, and I tried to go to a fire tower but couldn't find a place to park.  Instead we walked along part of the Granite Town Rail Trail.  There was a solar system walk with the sun and all the planets along the first part of it.
  • Late in the season I planted some petunia seeds in pots.  I didn't expect much but they grew and one of them has a blossom today.  🤍
  • Fresh homemade cookies that C just made.
The tall one to the right has the blossom.

Whatever this frame is from, the tree kept growing.

I am less than two Saturn years old.

Someone had painted little stones and
placed them along the trail.

Keep your distance.
