This is a very stressful election for me. I don't want to talk politics. I voted today and I walked to the polls with a bottle of hand sanitizer. It was a little over four miles round trip. Walking helps me to relieve stress. It was a cold, sunny day. The wind was not as wild as yesterday so walking helped me be warm enough where I was covered. My nose and cheeks were cold. The walk is a happy for today. Other happy things are:
- K brought home a maple shortbread cookie and other comfort foods for today.
- The sunset was brilliant tonight.
- Pumpkin whoopie pie.
- Self-care.
