There were goals I set this morning. I wanted to go through and reorganize parts of my bedroom, get 13,000 steps, and to submit my resume for a remote job. All these things were accomplished (just over 14,000 steps!). I'm calling today a win. In addition to those three things I am happy and grateful today for the following:
- In unpacking a box in my room I found a pair of winter boots. They are my cheap and quick to slide on boots, not my nice lace up keep-my-feet-super-warm ones. They are still boots and the forcast for tomorrow is rain followed by snow-four to eight inches.
- I've been listening to the book The Compound Effect by Darren Hardy. This is not the first time I've listened to this book, it may not be the last. Mr. Hardy discusses different small habits that people can do to become more successful. Part of what he talks about is accountability and working with others to help keep each other accountable. I worked with TF on this today. It helped with the motivation to get those things done. I'm not sure I would have submitted my resume otherwise.
- The donate pile is getting larger, which means my stuff is getting smaller. This isn't happening fast, but it is happening.
- According to my FitBit, I got a good amount of sleep last night. Perhaps this is why I had more energy today.
