Gordian Knot

It is after 1 AM and I have spent about the last eight hours undoing knots.  I stopped because I finally started to get frustrated.   Generally, untangling is a very soothing process for me.  For over seven hours today it was,  so that is good.   Most likely I have released enough tablets from this 25 year old piece of weaving that will never be finished, so that I can start on a new project.   While untangling I also watched some TV and listened to an audio book.

Food choices were okay today.   I managed to not eat any popcorn at the movies, so that was something.  Movement was really low.  Sitting and untangling wool for hours will do that.  I've been listening to The Compound Effect by Darren Hardy.  He talks about taking the tiny steps towards change and better habits a well as taking the big leaps.  There are so many things on my plate that I want to change I wonder about taking a leap instead.  I'm still more on the baby step side of the fence though-for now.

The movie I saw today was Frozen 2.  I really enjoyed it.  The colors and animation were beautiful.  Some are saying that they enjoyed this movie more than the first Frozen.  The jury is still out for me.  Going to the movies is my happy for today.

What is left of the knot on the left, untangled in the bag and a pile of cards.
