Housing

There is a good possibility that Z & K will be getting the house that we looked at earlier this week.  The place was inspected today and all the results should be in by the beginning of next week.  There is a little bit of financial stuff that is happening, but it is almost a done deal.  This means that we won't be between homes for more than a week or two.

I didn't go into the house today, I did tour the acres though.  There is a fenced in area for a garden that seems to have at least one fruit tree.  It hasn't been used in a while but I am sure that Z and Gideon will be planting things and I hope to be involved with that too.  We are hoping to have archery practices and maybe small events.  There is a small chicken coop.  I can imagine the smell of sheets dried in the sun on the clothes line.  It has a brook, lots of dead wood (part of it was clear cut recently), ticks, and some poison ivy.  It also has a genuine New England dump complete with bed springs, old chairs and air conditioners.  That will be cleaned up real soon.  The possibility of moving to this place is my happy for today.  It is also the only thing I have done today to prepare for the move.  Tomorrow is an event and Sunday I hope to get a bunch of packing done and maybe even bring things to storage.
