CW--Anxiety

Anxiety is real.  Yesterday my work Chromebook broke.  Today I brought it to school and got a replacement.  This went okay, they have procedures in place and all.  After that, because I was out, I went to the local to school Walmart.  It took my about fifteen minutes to psych myself up to go into the store.  We needed milk.  I decided that if there was no milk I would just leave.  They had milk.  There was no sign saying there was a limit so I got two gallons.  We go through milk fast.  Then I figured I was in there I should get what I can.  There was a long list of things we need for the house.  Waste baskets and a toilet seat as well as vitamins that ran out, stuff like that.  By the time I was done it took all my restraint to not run out of the store.

Most of my day after that was anxiety driven.  The smallest thing has been putting me into a bit of a whirl.  Last night I had stress dreams.  There are many factors for this anxiety.  The largest is the pandemic, for sure.  Other stressors right now though include working from home, the move, not being unpacked, and taxes.

Thank you for reading.  I do have some happy things for today too.

  • I found the box with my tax information so I can get that done in the morning.
  • I had to go to the post office and that went smoothly.
  • For work today I finished some tasks that had been on my plate.
  • The daffodils are blooming.

Wash your hands!
