Sad News

This morning I learned that a friend passed away last night.  It wasn't the virus.  We went to high school together but didn't actually meet each other until the SCA. Our graduating class was over 400, so not knowing everyone was easy.  One Pennsic, we sat around a campfire with a group of people and realized we were missing our, whatever year that was, class reunion.  I believe we told a few teacher stories and agreed we both were happier that we were there, at Pennsic, and not at our class reunion.  He was a kind and giving person, and is missed.

My friend and I made it out for a walk today.  It helped to lift my soul.  It also energized me some so I was able to spend most of the afternoon working.  My task was to break down an assignment into smaller or easier to follow steps.  The teacher actually does a pretty good job of it, but there are usually tweaks that can be made.  I am pleased with my progress.  According to an email, the case manager is too.  I hope to hear from the teacher in the morning.  It took a lot of time to break down but I expect it to get easier and faster with practice.  Usually, when I break down things to smaller steps it is on the job with a student and seeing exactly where they need the assistance.  Trying to do this in advance of a hiccup for multiple students with varying levels was a new challenge.

My happy for today is getting out for that walk.  It was overcast but the temperature was above 50 degrees and spring is in the air.

This was supposed to be a still shot.
User error though and it is a quick clip.
Too bad I couldn't figure out how to remove the play button.

Don't touch your face.
