Stones

Waking up early this morning I was hoping to motivate myself enough to take a walk.  Unfortunately I didn't feel well-not in the pandemic way-just in a blah kind of way.  Any how, a walk was  not in my cards so I took my time this morning and worked on some exchequer tasks.  When I started feeling better I went to work a little in the garden, until it got too hot out and I wanted lunch.  The walk never happened.  By working off and on in the garden and other chores I was able to get over 10,000 steps today.  There is still more to be done in the garden and I hope to get out there before it gets too hot in the morning.

There are a few happy things for today and I guess they all have a little to do with gardening:
  • Planting tomatoes and peppers in the garden.
  • Planting tomatoes, basil and thyme in the topsy turvy planter.  I'm not sure I like that planter yet, we'll see if things continue to grow.
  • Transplanting a small tree from the garden to the back where logging happened last year.
  • Placing the painted rocks onto the front yard.  The place the rocks are going could use many more.  Hopefully people we have asked will paint some and drop them off will start soon.

Squash and stuff.

This is an SCA map from 30 some odd years.

This is the tree that was moved.

Painted stones.

Wash your hands,
