Walls

It seemed as if I kept running into walls today.  I had hoped to get a bunch more painting done on my bedroom walls.  There was a large three that had been taped to the wall and then painted over that I knew had to go.  I figure there was a NASCAR fan previously in that room.  Removing that three up removing all the paint in that section.  I had been using the dark grey as my "canvas" and now that section is an off white color.  The result is that I am rethinking that part of the room and what I might like to do.  I also applied a bunch of mud that needs to dry before I can paint.  The good news here is that C got the nails out that had been stuck and frustrating me a while back.  There is a section that may need more mud, but most of it I think will just need sanding before I paint some more.

Then I was going to paint an old bulletin board that came with the house but don't have the color spray paint I want for it.  I wanted to do something about whatever is eating the tomatoes but don't have a spray bottle.  Turns out what I made could kill pollinators so I am rethinking that too.  I did some research and there are a few things I will be trying over the next few days.  I researched a few other gardening things and that helped get my mind off of watching the mud dry on the walls!  I was able to do a few things outside but for some reason I just wasn't wanting to be out too much today.

My happy for today is that the topsy turvy still seems to be doing alright.  The plants I put in there are all living so far and don't seem to have any creatures eating them.

The plants are little, but still looking okay.

The first bit that came off was about half the size of what I have off in the picture.

I squared it up and probably over did the mud.

Stay Safe.
