Red

Anger is a strong emotion.  It is what ran through me when I walked through the garden tonight and saw that one of the tomato plants I purchased and planted yesterday was stripped of all the leaves.  I can not prove that it was the gopher/woodchuck that lives under a tree in the garden or not, but there are more rocks over their hole.  It has two holes, one on either side of the fence, so I have only inconvenienced the creature.  I have learned of a possible natural deterrent that I can put on the tomatoes and will do my best to make some up and use tomorrow.

On the other side of the coin, I managed to try a new recipe for dinner tonight and it seems to have been a success.  I adapted this recipe I found online.  I used vegetable broth instead of chicken and didn't have any scallions.  I also added some garlic bouillon.  Making new recipes frustrates me.  I was tired and my back hurt.  That dinner came out well and others liked it is my happy for today.

Keep your distance.
