Birds

Gardening and yard work started around eight o'clock this morning.  It wasn't until about noon that I put the lawn mower and garden tools away.  By that time, I was sunburned.  I felt it coming on, but wanted to get just a little bit more done.  So the tomatoes are weeded, the soaker hose is in place, and some mowing happened.  K came out and worked on pruning the peach tree and then helped with the weeding.  Working with K in the garden is my happy for today.  We tried to identify bird calls followed by birds in flight.  We are not ornithologists, not even close.  We also found a praying mantis that we put into the garden.

A small pumpkin.

Large bird flying overhead, vulture?

A large glass of sekanjabin.

Big enough that the ones on the left (cucumbers) may get planted tomorrow.

Stay Safe.
