Starting out my day by going for a walk definitely makes for a better day for me. If only I could remember that when I wake up in the morning. :) The warm weather brought fog, beautiful fog. Yes, I said beautiful. I stopped for a while on my walk and watched some juncos and -I think- goldfinches eat. I took about 93 seconds worth of video that can be found here. Other happy things for today are:
The pile of icy snow on the sidewalk is gone! This makes me happy because I feel it will be safer for passersby, such as myself, to walk by more safely.
We got our Christmas tree today!
We put lights on our Christmas tree! Decorations will go on later.
We put in an order at Target to pick up, planning to get it tomorrow. It was ready in 30 minutes so we went and got it before dinner. Service there seemed to go really well so K looked around there for a few minutes for other things and I headed to a different store.
At the register at the other store I had a comical exchange of words with the clerk. It involved both of us being tired enough to not do numbers well. People working in retail are under more stress than usually right now, so I hope this little exchange helped his day end well.
The fog eventually lifted to display a fiery sunset.
