Sled Time!

Weird dreams haunted my night and didn’t leave my mind until the afternoon.  The morning was spent doing things like insurance and job hunting.   The afternoon is when C and Gideon went sledding.  Of

course I joined them, as did E when her lesson was over.  Z was working and K was out running errands.  The hill we slid on is long but not very steep.  When I start down the slope I am pushing myself along-- as I get closer to the end, I start slowing myself down. Weee! Unlike the young folk in the house, I no longer feel invincible.  The highlight of the day was definitely going sledding; other happy things were:

  • Z and C fixed the shower door.  One of the runners somehow came off and we have been carefully placing the door to close it rather than sliding it shut.  This was a task that I was going to do.  I tried a couple days ago and decided that I needed to pull the door out and set it on the table to have better access. There were always people at the table when I thought of it.  Z cleared it off and got it fixed while I was doing the dishes. Yay!
  • Z, Gideon and I went shopping this evening.  Last week Gideon ordered new glasses and they were in today.  I should have taken a picture.  They look great on him!
  • I attempted to pollinate the different petunia flowers today. Only time and observation will tell if it worked.
  • I love the way the treeline looks as the sun starts to get low on the horizon.  The trees all brighten up and look cheery.
Petunias.

Gideon headed down.

Cheery trees.

Stay safe.
