First Day of the Event

The first day of the event is done.  Most of the day was spent doing the things we would normally do before an event-shopping for food for the weekend and getting other things ready.  There was no need to pack the car or set up a tent though.  Instead we made a video to welcome people and show them how to participate.  There was a chat room that we got to visit some people in and then we watched a perfomance by i Sebastiani, The Greatest Commedia dell' Arte Troupe in the Entire World, which can be seen here.  After, there was a chat room just for groups to have a bardic circle in.  I started a fire and eventually people joined us.  It was a long day that has left me exhausted.  My happy is getting to see all the people virtually and hearing what they have been up to.  The performance was terrific!  If you have the time and want to see a show, click that link above.

Moon and star.
I think star on the upper left is a glare on the camera.
The star on the lower left of the moon is most likely Mars, a planet.

Keep your distance.
