When I am on my computer at midnight, it tells me. Friday is Minecraft night so I was on, playing with TF and talking with her on the phone. When my computer let me know the time, I mentioned that it was midnight and without skipping a beat TF sings to me a birthday song. I had forgotten that it was my birthday, we were killing monsters after all, there were other things to think about. My second happy birthday message was after I woke up and did Duolingo. The advertisment after was a happy birthday from AARP. I'm still not sure how I feel about that one. Other things that I am happy and thankful for today:
- K made baked French toast and bacon for breakfast. It was SO good!
- I had a sampler of different maple syrups that we tried over the baked French toast. Most of us like our syrup on the dark side.
- We got two cats today at Darbster Kitty. Winston is an adoption and Nanni is a foster that we expect to become an adoption in a few weeks. We are giving them time to warm up to us and gradually introducing them to the house. The whole family is very happy with them.
- C made pretzels this afternoon. These were also SO good.
- TF sent me a present in the mail. There will be a picture below.
- My friend that I walk with that is in the SCA also sent me a gift. Two actually, one for my birthday and one for Christmas. She sent me books to help with the garden/homestead life I dream about. I'm looking forward to reading those.
- I am overflowing with gratitude for all the wonderful birthday messages that people sent to me on Facebook.

| This is Winston. He is about nine months old and very curious. |

| This is Nanni. She is about two and a half or so and is a bit more reserved than Winston. She has had a rough life but is so very lovable. |

| This is the llama that TF sent to me. This llama came with their own food and water for the trip. 😂🤣😂 |
