Christmas Movie

Waking up early made for a long day.  Looking at my list of things to do, I got most of the things done, or at least worked on.  I decided to clean the bathroom (not on the list) and then went through all the shelves and drawers in there, rearranging things.  It became quite the task.  In the end, one of the shelves is now mostly empty which makes a lovely temporary storage place for shower supplies.  This makes me happy.  Other happy things for today:

  • We are plowed out.  Our friend who came and plowed yesterday has a life, we knew that, and had to come back today to finish up.  There was maybe another six inches that fell after they left yesterday.
  • E has studied opera.  I know very little about opera.  I am enjoying hearing her talk about it though.  She started taking voice lessons (E teaches voice too) from a master teacher.  It turns out that we have all met her instructor.  Her instructor is in the SCA and is a previous Baronial Bardic Champion from our former Baron and Baroness.
  • We are going to watch everyone's favorite holiday movie leading up to Christmas.  Tonight was Emmet Otter's Jug-band Christmas, my favorite.
  • C and E went sledding out back today for a date.  Later I walked as far as the hill they chose to sled down.  It wasn't a long walk, but it was more than yesterday.  There is something about that area that seems to bring me joy.
There are little footprints coming from that old piece of furniture.
I believe they are mouse prints.
This is near the fire pit, waiting to be burned.
One of the last fires we had out here there was a mouse living in there.

Setting sun sky.

The witch tree on the next hill.

The steep sledding hill.
Also the one I tend to fall down.
I should have brought the sled.  :)

Stay safe.
