More Prints

After doing a short amount of Google research I decided to try to make a flour and water plaster to use to attempt to cast some of the footprints.  I thought it didn't take too long to dry, then I Googled that question as well.  It turns out a couple of days is possible for these things to harden.  Until then, I will have no idea whether or not the casts will work.  It is also possible that some creature will try to eat them.  I hope not, edible and healthy are two different things.  Still, I am glad I tried and may do more research on this and see what I can find out.  I'm pretty sure at least some of the prints I saw today are from a cat.  Other happy things for today:

  • The town snowblows the sidewalks.  We learned the snow is blown onto the yard and they don't block the driveway.  I suspected that the snow from the road got onto the front lawn somehow from when I mowed.  We also learned that if you shovel a bunch of snow onto the sidewalk, the snow blower won't be able to get through it and will leave that section.  This makes sense to me and I will endeavor to clear that out a little at a time during the warmer parts of the day.  This means that I should be able to walk safely along the sidewalk rather than the side of the street.
  • Soon after leaving my job I made a list of things to do every day.  There are twelve things on this list (I have updated it a few times already).  Today I did at least a little of each of them.  I've been coming in two or three short.  Other things have popped up or I have become involved in things in greater detail than I had to.   I didn't expect to complete the list today because things like job hunting and trying to cast paw prints aren't on there.
  • In Dungeons and Dragons tonight Gideon and I both brought fire to kill off a metalic gorgon.  Z and E helped and we all leveled up.
Snowman Squarehead is looking for prints too.

We put these up last week,
but I don't think I took a picture.

The more I look at this one, the more I see cat.

No idea... there were others that made it look like a track.

Not sure, maybe a squirrel.

The witch tree.
I think it is an oak.

Stay safe.
